EL TAMARINDO MISSION

SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Located in one of the poorest areas of Santo Domingo, these 190 students are anxious to return to their new school. International Circle of Friends, Iberostar, and Kids International completed construction of the five room, one level school with multipurpose building and cafeteria in the fall of 2019.

Currently the school offers classes for pre-school thru fourth grades. When the economy allows, a second level will be added to the existing structure to handle high school students.

ICOF, in collaboration with Kids International, are raising $55,000 for new construction to accommodate secondary level students.

With the current remote class schedule, laptops are needed for eleven teachers to better serve the students: $5,500 costs
