MASAI TRIBE

TANZANIA, AFRICA

International Circle of Friends, (ICOF) and Eagle Wings of Enlightenment Center(EWOEC) are committed to building two wells for members of the Masai tribe in the Makayuni Village in Tanzania. Presently, villagers have to travel 20 miles round trip on donkeys to find sanitary drinking water with which to drink, cook and bath. For years, Tanzania has had major issues regarding residents having access to clean water. Many ground water wells have been contaminated or are located near toxic drainage systems. People turn to surface water, which often contains bacteria or human waste. Recently, a severe drought has compounded the water crisis.

We ask you to join us in supporting the Masai in acquiring two wells.
